You’ll complete a brief online form about your health, lifestyle, and medical history. A licensed physician then reviews your information, designs a personalized treatment plan, and if appropriate prescribes your GLP-1 medication for home delivery.
GLP-1 therapy is designed for adults 18+ who are not pregnant or breastfeeding, are not currently using a GLP-1 medication, and do not have certain medical conditions that could make treatment unsafe.
The Pharmacy Place compounds GLP-1s in-house, cutting out middleman markups and providing tighter quality control. We also have a direct pharmacy line where you can reach a licensed pharmacist at any time with questions or concerns.

About the Medication

Based on your online assessment, you will receive either Semaglutide or Tirzepatide injections.
This medication is injected under the skin. You will be taught how to prepare and administer it. Take it as directed on the prescription label. It should be given once every week (every 7 days).
Most people experience only mild, temporary side effects with semaglutide and tirzepatide, which may include:
  • Redness at the injection site
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Abdominal pain
  • Diarrhea
  • Constipation
It’s safe and common to stop semaglutide or tirzepatide, though increased appetite and weight gain can occur. Tapering gradually with your physician can help manage these changes and support sustainable, long-term results.

Shipping and Delivery

After you complete your online consultation, your physician will send your prescription directly to us – typically within 24 hours of your visit. Prescriptions received in the morning usually ship the same day, while those received in the afternoon ship the following business day. Most patients receive their medication within 72 hours of their online consultation.
You will receive your medication via UPS Next-Day in a temperature-controlled package with all administration supplies (e.g., alcohol swabs/syringes) included.

Storage and Handling

You should store your medication in the refrigerator (36-46 degrees F).
GLP-1s are technically stable at room temperature (Semaglutide for 56 days and Tirzepatide for up to 21 days). Refrigeration does extend the life of the product. If you leave your medication out it is okay, just be sure to return it to the refrigerator as soon as possible.
GLP-1s are not stable at frozen temperatures and freezing is likely to cause the active ingredients to become far less potent. It is advised that if your medication is frozen you should discard the medication.

Semaglutide starts at $139/month and goes up to $179/month depending on your dose. Tirzepatide starts at $179/month and goes up to $279/month.
